What a wonderful place which we shall book again. 3 adults and 3 dogs had a great week. The cottage is very well appointed with ample space inside and out. A welcome basket is a thoughtful touch by owners who care about their guests stay. While the garden is not fully secure, it is a village of 3 houses on a very quite lane and we had no problems keeping an eye on our dogs. The fenced patio also allows for them to be outside but contained. A great stay and have already recommended to friends.

We had the most wonderful week away in this beautiful cottage. It is the ideal location if you want to get away from it all but still have access to villages and larger towns. The cottage is gorgeous, spacious and very homely. It was also spotless and the garden and surrounding countryside great for our children to explore. We will return!

A very well presented and clean, comfortable cottage. We all had a wonderful time with great walks and runs from the cottage. The nature reserve was brilliant and also the cafe. We had lunch at The Sheaf of Arrows on New Years Day. The log fire was wonderful and food delicious. Thoroughly recommend this cottage for a relaxing break away.

We stayed at Brock Cottage over the Christmas holidays. We loved our stay. The welcome pack was very generous. The kitchen was well equipped and the oven was big enough to cook our turkey and all the trimmings. The dining area was of a good size and sat five of us comfortably. The same for the lounge. Would recommend Brock Cottage

A beautiful cottage in a tranquil location. It’s one of the nicest cottages we’ve stayed in. Lovely size rooms furnished to give a real cottage feel. It felt so homely. The garden is big but quite sloped and although it didn’t bother us in the least it might be an issue if small children want to play out. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable, with a lovely garden. It’s in a quiet, friendly hamlet off the beaten tourist track but only 20 minutes’ drive from Dorchester and slightly less from Crewkerne. We didn’t meet the owners but they were very ready to allow us to arrive early and very generous with the “essentials” they left for us.

A lovely cottage in an idyllic location, the garden was full of wildlife and views of the lambs playing in the field opposite . The owners left a very generous welcome pack which was great. Although the property is very rural it was also easy to drive to local attractions Corfe Castle , Lyme Regis, Bridport etc. A real home-from-home, we will definitely return.

A beautiful spacious and comfortable thatched cottage set in quiet Dorset countryside. The cottage is extremely well equipped, very clean and the Welcome Pack was an added bonus. We were a party of four adults, two young toddlers and a dog and we really appreciated the large dining room and large lounge. The owners were very helpful both prior to and during our visit.

The cottage and garden are lovely. There was a very nice welcoming pack including bottle and clear household instructions. Two of our party had to homework for a day so the fast broadband was a great asset. It was reassuring to know that the owners are local and happy to be contacted although this was not needed in our case. We especially enjoyed the well equipped and ergonomic kitchen and were lucky enough withe the weather to be able to eat out on the garden terrace frequently.
